Happy Friday Everyone!!!
This coming Monday, the United States, will be celebrating Labor Day or what is sometimes called “a workingmen’s/ workingwomen holidays. Its original purpose was to pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Recently, in American the Progressive Movement has brought to the forefront, many of the inequalities that American workers are facing. Yes, we the richest and greatest country in the world. There is many things right and wonderful about our nation. Yet, there is still much to accomplish. May we take the time on this holiday to remember/honor those who sacrificed, protested, organized strikes, and even died for the creation of unions, and the achievement of workers’ rights.
“We are not complaining about the work. We want to see our hard work reflected in our pay.”
