Today, I want to share more steps that will help you heal from Betrayal Trauma. I saved these for last because honestly they are often considered harder to carry out. #1 – Forgive the person(s) that have betrayed your trust. This does not mean you have to forget or even condone their behavior. But to move forward you are going to have to forgive, let it go – the bitterness, anger, hatred, desire for revenge. Also, remember – forgiveness is a process. #2 – Rid your life (inner circle) of untrustworthy person(s). This can be difficulty because after betrayal trauma –we often question our judgement. However, in determining if someone is trustworthy, – examine the evidence. This evidence is their actions towards you and others.
